Frequently Asked Questions
-
We help individuals and families navigate the complex world of addiction and recovery. Whether it’s persuading someone to accept help, evaluating treatment options, or building a long-term recovery plan, we serve as your expert guide and ongoing partner.
-
Yes. We provide select clinical services — including individual therapy, family therapy and counseling, crisis intervention, and diagnostic/assessment services — along with recovery coaching and long-term planning. What sets us apart is how we combine these elements into a comprehensive, concierge-level plan tailored to your family.

Rehab is often just the beginning. Many families find themselves unprepared for what comes next: relapse risks, return to school or work, repairing family relationships, or navigating legal and financial challenges. We provide the strategic planning, oversight, and support that most treatment programs leave out.
-
No. Families are often just as affected, and sometimes more ready for help than the individual. We work with the entire system — family members, loved ones, and support networks — to create clarity, alignment, and resilience.
-
Helping supports recovery; enabling allows the problem to continue. For example, helping might mean setting clear expectations, providing access to treatment, or supporting healthy choices. Enabling often looks like covering up consequences, providing money without accountability, or ignoring dangerous behavior. Families rarely set out to enable, but addiction can make boundaries confusing. We help you recognize the difference, align as a family, and take actions that truly support long-term recovery.
-
This is a common situation. We specialize in helping families take productive steps even when the identified person refuses treatment. By building leverage, setting healthy boundaries, and presenting options strategically, we often shift the dynamics over time.
-
Unlike traditional treatment episodes, our work is designed for the long term. Most families work with us for at least six months, and many continue longer as circumstances evolve. Addiction recovery is a process, not a quick fix.
-
Yes. While we will not serve as an attorney of record in any legal proceeding or offer legal advice, we will assist and advocate for you in connection with any legal issues related to substance use. We have unique experience helping our clients navigate and achieve desired outcomes in a variety of legal settings, including family law, criminal law, drug courts and probation, as well as school and employment contexts.

Strategic Recovery Partners is a private, concierge service. Because much of our work involves recovery coaching, planning, and family guidance, we are not in-network with insurance. Families and individuals contract directly with us for services and pay an hourly rate.
However, some of the clinical services we provide — such as individual therapy, family therapy and counseling, crisis intervention, and diagnostic/assessment services — may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan. For these services, we issue families a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company for possible partial reimbursement. -
Absolutely. Privacy is central to what we do. We handle sensitive family and personal matters with the utmost discretion. To ensure privacy and discretion, we offer the option of providing services in our clients’ homes, working around their schedules.
-
The first step is a confidential consultation. We’ll discuss your situation, outline options, and design a path forward that fits your family’s unique needs.
